Jennifer Hsieh, MA is a technology transfer professional with 15 plus years of experience managing and licensing university emerging technologies in life and physical sciences, as well as computer software and genomics. Jennifer holds a M.A. in Biology with specialization in biomechanics from the University of Kansas.
Jennifer has been immersed in licensing and new business development and early-stage technology commercialization strategies through her work at the University of Kansas, University of Chicago, Stony Brook University, and more recently at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Prior to joining university technology transfer offices, Jennifer worked as a scientific specialist at the intellectual property group in the law firm of Covington and Burling, Washington, DC, and did postgraduate scientific research at UC Riverside and the University of Maryland.
